For the ones who prefer a sea holiday, a farmhouse near Grosseto is a good starting point. Grosseto is only a few kilometres from the sea and from the many sea centres along the Thyrhennian coast. For instance, Castiglione della Pescaia, once a little fishers village of Etruscan origin, is now a well renowned seaside resort along the coast of Maremma, where sand beaches blends into a thick pine wood.
