When you take a reservation in a Grosseto farmhouse, you're gaining the opportunity to experience fully all the attractions and wonders of Tuscany, from the green hills of the inner countryside to the splendid sea coast. If you prefer the latter, you should visit Punta Ala, on the southern Follonica Gulf, lying beautifully on a green stripe of coast, just in front of a grand pinewood. One of them is celebrated every year, during the month of May and it's called "La Maggiolata". It's a sort of festival of flowers celebrating the beginning of summer, where the country people of Lucignano create parade carts adorned with thousands of flowers and drive them in a long parade through the streets of the little medieval center. During the two-week festivity, Lucignano is animated by several musica bands performing at every corner and in every street.
